Looking fabulous is the right of every bride, whether she is 18 or 80. You may be geting married for the first time or you may have done this all before, either way this is the last time you'll be getting married and you'll need your best choice of gown to reflect the importance of this occasion.
So what do you wear if you're a little more mature? In days gone by it would have been a suit and hat in a pastel shade.... now is so much different. The choice of gowns and outfits is infinite as your ensemble can be created especially for you; wear a suit if you want to but not because you feel it's your only option.
The choices you have made through your life have brought you to this day. Choices that have been made with years of experience. Here at Rispin Couture we pride ourselves in offering choice for everyone, including of coure an older bride. You know what suits you, you know what parts of you that you love and what parts you'd like flattering. Here are just a few ideas from our designers. We've chose these to show that fashion can be flattering as well as stylish..........
The first one here is a lovely 50's inspired gown that is so very simple. The chiffon falls and drapes across the bodice so delicately it appears to be effortlessly comfortble. It comes up onto the bust fully encapsulating it and has an integrated internal eyelet corset. The next picture is actually the same gown but is teamed with a sweet bolero, to show the difference that made when you accessorise correctly. So this can be worn of course with or without a bolero. Without it shows off the sweeping fabric which flatters the midriff. With the bolero it shows the dainty lace sleeve and offers you more looks in one outfit.
These are two pieces! A lovely skirt and bodice teamed together to offer a demure and refined look. And being a two piece, will be effortlessly comfortable and can be mixed and matched with any of the other skirt fabrics and fullnesses or other bodices available.
These next gowns are more fashion forward. Elegant styling in classically cut fabric for the client who wants something a little more chic.
The next gowns are more confident and sassy - like the wearer. Sometimes a gown will only look good on someone with more life experience. Again both feature internal eyelet corsets which although cannot be seen by your guests of course, you know is there... making you look and feel fabulous! If you still got it? ....flaunt it!
What about that classic hollywood glamour?
These next gowns showcase the beauty of a well cut sleeve. So gracefully feminine. Dreamy floaty skirts which create height and elegance without the need for stilletto heels (so you can wear whatever height comfy matching shoes underneath! Our shoes come with the Rainbow Club unique Bliss Cushion Comfort padded lining, and supersoft underfoot comfort, to ensure tired feet won't be an issue... they also come with a lovely tiny blue crystal on the sole for your something blue! And almost all of them are dyable so you can keep wearing them into the future to match another outfit if you so wish).
These gowns are for the "Lady Of The Manor". So if your wish is to wear a nice full skirt, but you're afraid of being a disney princess? These both feature gorgeous bodices, so simple and elegant - and grand skirts. The first "Indian Summer" is a combination of silk satin, to give a glorious sheen to the ensemble and then draped over the top is lace embellished tulle. The sedond, "Twilight", is in homage to Grace Kelly, beauty in its simplicity.
